HYDRAULIC SLIDING WALLS
Modern architectural guidelines demand ever-greater glass surfaces. Lately, these have very topical designs, from floor to ceiling, without frame, both inside and outside. Sliding doors allow for greater accessibility, giving a sense of airiness and connectivity with the environment. The opening mechanism is essential for sliding walls. With larger glazing, a hydraulic mechanism is used, which means that the sliding wing is lifted onto wheels with bearings, thus achieving a fluent opening or closing. There is also the tilt-and-slide opening system, which is usually used for smaller glazing.
